I manually changed the note lengths so that it appeared to be getting faster/slower - the tempo isn't actually changing at all in the software. I actually spent a while trying to get it to sound 'natural'-ish. GarageBand for iOS cannot automate many things :(
fastest 2:30 of my life lol, on the list you go
old beat or new beat? edit: niceee
new beat, i transitioned from fl studio to ableton, had an idea and just got it speedrunned
lol this is exactly what 90% of the Overcooked OST sounds like. where are you getting all these VSTs from?
omg yes i was thinking animal crossing but that too
aight lemme give you my sauce:
so the percussions are from a jazz drum kit i found on youtube, pizzicato strings from bbc symphony orchestra, harmonica and accordion from zenology vst, and the guitar is a live classical guitar recorded by me hehe
You choose the Mustang GT!
Now would you like to race in, Tokyo, San Francisco, or São Paulo?
fr tho, i've never thought to combine epiano and electric guitar, that's so cool.
LOL
thanks brah i feel like they go together pretty well!
nice layering! also, I can't even touch most of the synths from the transition sounds pack with a 10ft long stick so that was cool to hear. i noticed that you had a lot of "clashing frequencies" which means that a lot of your melodies or basslines were occupying the same spot in frequency space, so i would recommend, like, watching a tutorial on that or smth. not like i have great history with it myself lol.
Thanks for the feedback and advice! I will try to apply this in future songs.

woah, this is actually really nice what in the world. gonna try putting you on the spot here, what is your favorite official pack by Apple right now.
Thank you! I don’t really know what my favorite one is, they’re all super useful. If I had to pick though, probably 8-Bit Legends, Edges and Angles, or Chromium Fray.
how on earth do fairytale bells and metallic edges sound so fire together, whaaaa... all in all a good "weird song" tho I personally wouldn't choose to put the melodies together at the end like that, but to each their own.
also quick question, how did you do that pitch fall, with the sampler or something else? sounds completely automated to me.
I didn’t made it. I think it was done with a synthesizer.
sounds like an album trailer or something, like, it's not very cohesive but in a good way. also, just impressive from someone who struggles to keep creating interest through the beat.
p.s. i think you call the ending "color bass" right?
yeah that’s color bass
took me four months to see the desc that's wiiiild.
